hey!
so I have a request for a carpool from here in Connecticut, and I thought I would start a post and maybe we can get a carpool/caravan together for those of us who don't live in actual eastern mass.
I can drive 3 people and 3 dumbeks and some squeaky animals, or 2 people plus some big djembes (I have a little car... VW in the haus yo)
I can pick people up at the commuter parking lot at I95 exit 91 pequot trail, stonington. can pick up folks along 95 between here and 295.
or if you already know where I live you can meet me here.
It takes about an hour and 20 minutes to get there from here.
If other people are looking for or can give rides, post here!

I wish I could go this year (and play one of those giant corrugated plastic tube and rubber sheeting drums that shake the whole ground) but I have a performance. I would definitely recommend Eastern Mass Rhythm Fest to anyone interested in drumming, freestyle dance, and/or communal merriment! -

I just looked in Ed R's photo album and discovered that the big plastic drums are named Djunk Djuns!
